A small town, a good place to live

There is no date on this photo. It's probably a view from the early 1900's. 

You are looking to the Southwest from the North end of Grandy. The Post Office appears on the far right. The road in the foreground would later become State Highway 65. 

Just beyond the second building from the right (top photo) is what the locals call Lake Street, currently named 369th Avenue. It leads to Long Lake, about 1/2 mile to the West. About 2 miles further on, it crosses Stanchfield Lake.
